The International Consortium on Freezing of Gait (ICFOG) is an international network of clinicians and researchers dedicated to advancing the scientific understanding and clinical management of Freezing of Gait (FOG), a disabling gait disorder that commonly affects people with Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions.

Established in 2023, ICFOG brings together experts from around the world to foster collaboration, accelerate research, and translate scientific discoveries into better care for people living with FOG. Through its international meetings, the consortium provides a unique platform for sharing cutting-edge research, discussing emerging technologies, and building multidisciplinary collaborations.

The inaugural International Consortium on Freezing of Gait Conference (ICFOG2025) was successfully held at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Building on this success, the second conference, ICFOG2028, will take place from 16–19 May 2028 at Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

The meeting will bring together leading international experts to share the latest advances in FOG research, clinical practice, and emerging technologies, while fostering new collaborations across disciplines.

We look forward to welcoming you to Nijmegen!
